Bitdeer: AI Cloud

At Bitdeer, I was also involved in designing a highly available baremetal storage system using Ceph, aimed at enhancing storage performance and reducing the risk of data loss for our Filecoin mining operations. Following the AI boom, I played an integral role in helping the company transition from cryptomining to high-performance computing. As part of this initiative, I established a comprehensive design system and optimized our model and application deployment strategies. Initially, I led the product ideation, UI/UX design and development efforts before transitioning to a specialised role as a full-stack engineer and solution architect.

Flint: Augmented Reality Bookstore

An innovative mobile application powered by Unity that revolutionizes the book-review-searching experience. Using image recognition, Flint eliminates tedious clicks and typing. By scanning book covers, it surpasses Optical Character Recognition (OCR) limitations, providing accurate print edition-specific details: synopses, ratings, author profiles, publication dates, reviews, and prices.

AngelOwl Loyalty: Spend Processing Engine and Management

A vacation rental platform that prioritizes safety for both guests and hosts. By utilizing an escrow system, the platform effectively prevents fraudulent rental scams while providing peace of mind for all users.

Mockmon: Stub Sites

A modularized test stub tool that is designed to assess the robustness of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) security scanning tools through the use of malware and defacement transformations. By simulating real-world attack scenarios, it provides comprehensive insights into the vulnerability detection capabilities and overall reliability of security scanning tools.

CoPix: Communication with Pictures

An innovative communication technology prototype that enhances two-way speech through a unique approach called Speech-to-Image translation. It features facial expression and tonality detection sensors to facilitate communication in a way that hasn't been done before. CoPix is a product that I ideated, designed, and developed.
